School Handbook

Introduction

We are a very small school and we endeavour to retain all the traditional functions of a village school whilst implementing the most recent educational philosophies and strategies.

The individuality of the child is at the very centre of our practice and we constantly seek to ensure that all children fulfil their potential.

The school has developed a friendly yet purposeful atmosphere to which all are encouraged to contribute.

Our primary aim is to foster a life-long love of learning within the children in our care and to always remember that every child deserves a childhood.

We value everyone's contribution and you can be certain that you will be given a warm welcome at the school.

The purpose of this web page handbook is to give practical guidance to children and parents.

Should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact the school.

.
We look forward to developing a strong and positive partnership with you, which has the educational and social welfare of your child as its primary aim.

There may, however, be occasions when you are concerned about an issue at school, or when you feel that a particular situation has not been handled in the way you would have liked. Please let us know!

If you would like to discuss a matter at length either with a teacher or with me, please make an appointment for before or after school.
